The Centre for Sustainable Watersheds (CSW) is a charitable organization that was formed to foster community involvement in conservation and protection of water resources from coast to coast to coast.

We work with community groups, provincial and national NGOs, universities, industry and government across geographical, political and jurisdictional boundaries.

This approach builds on synergies that facilitate sharing of information, resources and expertise -safeguarding our water heritage for generations to come.
As Canada's national topographic mapping agency, the Centre for Topographic Information of Natural Resources Canada is responsible for the acquisition, management and dissemination of topographic information for the Canadian landmass.

* Respond to inquiries within 2 working days. When applicable, follow up on request within the period agreed with the client.

Originally the "Gananoque River Waterways Association" served the watershed from Upper Beverly Lake through to Gananoque Lake to the St Lawerence, but as other waterway/cottage associations have emerged, we primarily cover the watershed area from Lyndhurst Lake, south to Gananoque Lake including Fodey Lake, as far south as Marble Rock.

We encourage membership, as stated in our 1965 Constitution, to include "..property owners, resort operators, fishermen [and fisherwomen], farmers, trappers and all other interested parties...." for the purpose of getting together to "Protect wild life, arrange for equitable water levels, facilitate navigation, maintain health standards through the purity of the water [and] confer with officials in regard to definite arrangements for maintaining and improving the waterway for everyone's use."

Our most important mandate is to keep in touch with our neighbors and our neighborhood.
Managing the Water's Edge (MWE) is a riparian stewardship extension program in Manitoba delivered by a team of agriculture and conservation groups, working together to provide agricultural producers and other landowners with useful information that leads to effective management of riparian and associated lands. MWE provides workshops, presentations and written materials to help people make land use decisions that benefit the environment, communities and their operations.
